The Taube Center has provided tours for university and graduate students for more than a decade and is proud partner with Hillel International in providing deep-dive immersive experiences in Jewish Poland, past and present.
We craft focused study tours for students that combine site visits, lectures, and workshops with educational and cultural activities. For several years now, we’ve been cooperating with multiple Hillels and university campuses from North America and beyond.
What makes this tour truly stand out is a strong emphasis on an array of experiences and encounters. On the one hand, students will explore the complex heritage of Poland’s Jewish past and, on the other hand, visit local institutions including JCCs and Hillels. The students will also spend time with their Polish peers and meet local scholars and community leaders; ensuring a fulfilling and thought-provoking journey.
During the tour, we will address the challenges of the past and the present with an emphasis on facts, not on political agendas. This helps students engage in further debate and encourages them to learn more about our common history and its impact on the world. Our sincere hope is that their experiences will be later shared on campus and integrated into your campus’s activities.
