#TJHTalks

TJHTalks is our monthly webinar featuring pre-eminent scholars and cultural icons from Poland and around the world discussing Polish Jewish history and contemporary issues. The program, which is supported solely by viewer donations, sparks thought-provoking conversations and allows participants to ask questions and exchange insights.

The Taube Center launched TJHTalks in April 2020 as a way of staying in touch with its tour participants during the pandemic and expanding its mission of educating about Jewish Poland, past and present. The program is drawing audiences from all over the world and averaging over 500 attendees per broadcast, making it one of the most attended ongoing webinars dedicated to Jewish history and culture.

Guest speakers thus far have included Professors Natalia Aleksiun, Christopher Browning, Glenn Dynner, Samuel Kassow, Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Deborah Lipstadt, Antony Polonsky, Dariusz Stola, Adam Teller, and Marcin Wodzinski, who chairs the program’s Scholars Advisory Committee. The program has also featured Jewish culinary icons Leah Koenig, Michael W. Twitty, and Jeffrey Yoskowitz.
