As the Taube Center continues to expand its network of partners, we are pleased to announce its participation in CIV-Ashoah, a new transnational educational initiative. The project explores European history, the remembrance of the Shoah, and its impact on European societies through the prism of Ashkenazi culture.
CIV-Ashoah, co-financed by “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values,” is coordinated by the Ligue de l’enseignement (France) in partnership with Arci (Italy) and the Taube Center Foundation (Poland).
Each organization will identify educational, artistic, and cultural resources to be tested by a wide range of participants. The culled resources will be posted on the project’s website and made available to educators and organizations dedicated to promoting an open and inclusive European society.
New partnership with Kean University
We are proud to share our new cooperation: this August, the Taube Center organised a heritage study tour for the Holocaust Resource Center and Diversity Council of Kean University which took students in the Teaching the Holocaust and Prejudice Reduction Post-Baccalaureate Certificate and Masters of Holocaust and Genocide Studies to Gdańsk and Warsaw.
