Supporting Jewish Women Leaders in Ukraine

This month, Helise Lieberman, Director of the Taube Center for Jewish Life & Learning, led two online sessions for Project Kesher Ukraine, engaging Jewish women educators and community leaders across Ukraine.

One of the sessions focused on Jewish text learning in preparation for Shabbat, creating space for reflection, shared study, and meaningful dialogue. Even in a virtual setting — and during an especially challenging time — participants gathered to explore tradition, identity, and the sustaining power of learning together.

Project Kesher Ukraine plays a vital role in strengthening Jewish life and leadership, particularly among women, through education, community-building, and resilience-focused initiatives. The Taube Center is honored to contribute to this work and looks forward to continued collaboration as we support Jewish learning and connection across borders.
