Kef Be Choref

Following the success of the 2022 Kef be Kayitz Summer Camp, the Taube Center once again collaborated with the JCC Warsaw, Hillel Poland, and the Office of the Chief Rabbi of Poland on Kef be Choref (Fun in the Winter) Camp. Hosted at the Lauder-Morasha School  and supported by the Jewish Community of Warsaw, the camp welcomed 40 young Ukrainian refugees.

Participants, between 8 and 17 years of age, attended morning classes in Polish and math. In the afternoons, the groups explored music, art, and drama and enjoyed sports and group activities. The Ukrainian teachers and volunteers, many who have been in Poland since last March and have become part of the community, created a warm, welcoming and safe environment.

Special thanks form one of our participants
